Frozen edition
Definition
A frozen edition is an immutable, dated snapshot of an AI visibility ranking together with the complete evidence behind it: every verbatim answer, every extracted brand, and the method used. Once published it never changes, which is what makes it citable.
AI answers are ephemeral: ask again and the answer differs, so a claim about what AI said is unverifiable unless someone kept the record. Frozen editions solve this by archiving the full response corpus at a point in time.
