Branded prompt
Definition
A branded prompt is a question that names the brand directly, such as "is Acme legit" or "Acme pricing". Branded prompts test what AI says when someone checks up on you, which makes accuracy matter more than presence.
You will almost always appear in your own branded answers; the question is what the answer claims. Wrong pricing, a stale feature list, or a mixed verdict in a branded answer reaches buyers at their most decisive moment.
Branded prompts are where fact-checking work pays off first, because the assistant is already talking about you and only needs better material.
